Privacy Policy

Callden Works MNL ("we," "us," "our") built KahitPiso to help Filipino small business owners track their money and stock — not to collect more data than we need to do that. This page explains exactly what we collect, why, and what we do with it, in plain language, in line with the Philippines' Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173).

1. What We Collect

When you buy KahitPiso, we collect:

• Email address — required, so we can deliver your files and let you recover access if you lose your link.
• Name — optional, only used to personalize your receipt and support replies.
• Order details — which package you bought, whether you added a bump, and the amount paid. We never see or store your actual card, GCash, or Maya credentials — that's handled entirely by PayMongo.

We also automatically collect basic, non-identifying analytics when you browse the site — which sections you scroll to, whether you click checkout — to understand what's working on the page. This doesn't include anything sensitive and isn't linked to your identity unless you go on to make a purchase.

2. How We Use It

• To create your PayMongo checkout session and process your payment.
• To deliver your purchased files to your vault and email.
• To respond to support requests and honor the refund guarantee.
• To send you update notifications, if your package includes lifetime updates.
• To measure which parts of the site and ads are actually working (via Meta Pixel — see below).

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for anything beyond running this business and improving this product.

3. Who We Share It With

We use a small number of trusted service providers to run KahitPiso, and your data passes through them only as needed to deliver the service:

• PayMongo — processes your payment. They see your payment details directly; we don't.
• Vercel — hosts this website and its backend functions.
• Upstash (Redis) — stores your order record (email, package, amount) so your vault access and self-service recovery work.
• Meta (Facebook Pixel) — receives anonymized/hashed event data (like "a purchase happened") to help us measure ad performance. Your email is hashed before being sent, never in plain text.
• Google — the actual deliverable files live on Google Sheets/Drive, which you access directly with your own Google account via a "Make a Copy" link. We don't get access to your copy once you make it.

None of these providers are permitted to use your data for their own marketing purposes — they process it only to provide their service to us.

4. How Long We Keep It

Order records (email, package, amount) are kept for as long as needed to honor your access, support requests, and refund guarantee, and afterward for basic business record-keeping. If you'd like your data deleted after that period, message us and we'll take care of it, subject to any legal record-keeping requirements we're bound by.

5. Cookies & Tracking

This site uses the Meta Pixel to track ad performance and basic first-party analytics to understand page behavior. We don't use invasive third-party tracking or sell browsing data to anyone.

6. Your Rights

Under the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to:

• Know what personal data we hold about you.
• Request a copy of it.
• Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
• Ask us to delete it, subject to legal/record-keeping limits noted above.

To exercise any of these, message us on Facebook with the email you purchased with — we'll respond within a reasonable time.

7. Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data — encrypted connections (HTTPS), signed access tokens for your vault, and rate-limiting to prevent abuse. No online system is 100% immune to risk, but we take reasonable, active steps to keep your information safe.

8. Children's Privacy

KahitPiso is a business tool intended for adults running or managing a business. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected clearly, not buried.
